Anterior: The aponeurosis which covers the supraspinatus at its dorsal end, and the scapular fascia. Posterior: (1) The anterior part of the medial tuberosity of the humerus; (2) the anterior part of the lateral tuberosity of the humerus; (3) the tendon of origin of the coraco - brachialis
Action
Extends shoulder joint; elevates trunk when limb advances; retracts limb.
Innervation
Posterior pectoral nerves from the brachial plexes.
Blood Supply
Internal and external thoracic, inferior cervical, anterior circumflex and intercostal arteries
